Madrid Gathering Promotes Dialogue and Diversity

Madrid welcomed faith representatives, cultural figures and civic voices to highlight cultural diversity and peaceful coexistence. The meeting included a representative of the Bahá’í Community of Spain, a specialist from the Madrid Municipal Police Diversity Management Unit, flamenco artist Tito Losada, and Denise González. Speakers presented reflections from faith, culture and public service on how education can strengthen coexistence.

Throughout the gathering, participants considered themes such as tolerance, social cohesion and the prevention of discrimination. Fundación Mejora connected the initiative with Scientology’s focus on human dignity and social betterment. Ivan Arjona, representative of the Church of Scientology to European and international institutions, said that cultural and religious diversity can become a strength when supported by education and dialogue.
